ORDERING:Our
web site is set up with an electronic shopping cart. Use your mouse to
select the item/size you want and then click on "Click to order". This
will add the item to your shopping cart. Every time you add an item to
your shopping cart, a contents list will appear so you can review/adjust
your purchase and totals. You may order online with credit card or a checking
account draft via our secure server. If you prefer you can phone us or
print out your final cart contents page and fax with credit card info
or mail it to us with your payment. Please print out your order form or
online order confirmation e-mail for your invoice and receipt.
WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE:
Most product sizes are intended to fit average children (around the 50%
range on pediatric growth charts). Whenever we find that garment sizes
differ we will include sizing recommendations next to the product description.
If you know your child to be small or large for their age we encourage
you to size up or down as appropriate. Remember, children grow fast
and babies grow even faster. Little ones can wear larger clothes for a
longer period of time but can't wear clothes that are too small !
PRIVACY
POLICY: Your information is transferred safely via a secure server.
We collect only the data required to process your order. We do not use,
sell or make available any client information to any other party.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Visa, Mastercard, American Express,
Discover debit/credit cards. Charges
will appear on your statement as OnLine Purchase. Purchases
are shipped without delay (unless your credit card charge is declined
by the bank). Your online payment information will be safely transferred
on a secure server.
Cashiers Check or Money Order by mail. Purchases are shipped
upon receipt of funds.
Personal Check by mail causes a 3 - 10 day shipping delay
to receive confirmation that your check has paid. Funds must be received
before the merchandise can be sent.
Gift Purchases: We encourage you to include a message in the special
instruction box during check out and a gift card will be included at no
additional charge. You can add
custom gift wrapping for $3 with regular or priority shipping - please
use the special instruction box to tell us the occassion.
SHIPPING:
Purchases are sent via United States Postal Service. Shipping times
are based on USPS estimates and are not guaranteed by Babies In The Hood.
Your order is wrapped in tissue paper inside the mailing container. There
are no price tags or invoices included in the shipment. If multiple orders
are received for one shipping address, the shipments may be combined.
Paying by personal check add 3 -10 days to shipping time.
The US Post Master recommends ordering Christmas
gifts via regular or priorty shipping by December 15th in order to be
delivered on time.
- Economy Shipping
orders are accumulated and batch processed after regular and priority
shipments. Please allow 10 -14 days for processing and delivery within
the U.S.
- Regular Shipping
provides delivery in approximatley 7 days within the U.S.
- Priority Shipping
receives priority handling and 2 - 3 day shipping service. You should
receive your order within 5 days in the U.S. (average delivery time
is 3 days).
- International Shipping
via U.S. Postal Service Global mail. Your purchase should arrive in
your country within 5 - 10 days plus local postal service delivery
time. Please note: Some
destinations require additional delivery time or may cost more - we
will contact you via email for pre-approval if there is a shipping
rate difference after you have placed an order online.
Overnight
shipping starts at $20. Orders must be placed online and phoned in to
a live representative before 11a.m. Pacific Time in order to be processed
that same day. Voice mail messages will not initate an overnight order.
RETURN
POLICY: Unused items with original tags attached and packaging may
be returned within 30 days of ordering. Item(s) returned without all original
tags will received a 50% of purchase price refund. Collector Edition Barbies
can not be returned if any part has been removed from it's original packaging.
Please contact us and obtain an RMA# (return merchandise authorization
number) before sending back your purchase. Your purchase price plus any
applicable sales taxes will be refunded - shipping and handling charges
are non refundable.
PRODUCT NOTES: Fluctuations occur in hand
crocheted and knitted items due to the nature of hand crafting and yarn
variations. Washing in hot water will not shrink acrylic knitted and crocheted
items. Care instructions are specified in product descriptions next to
each item. The absence of care instructions indicates that cleaning is
not recommended (some items can not be washed or dry cleaned).
